No unverified official presets
Preset names can look authoritative long after a form has changed. Exact Size Tools therefore uses custom controls instead of guessing country, examination, visa, or application requirements. A future preset would need a direct source, the relevant jurisdiction, exact dimensions and units, accepted formats, background rule, file-size rule, and a visible last-checked date.
Read the current instructions on the receiving organization’s own website, note the publication or revision date, and copy each rule into the relevant tool. Treat pixel dimensions, physical dimensions, PPI, format, and file size as separate fields; one value cannot safely be inferred from another. Recheck the finished file before upload because acceptance can depend on rules this site cannot test, including pose, document content, naming, or account eligibility.
A four-step verification checklist
- Open the current instructions on the receiving organization’s own website. Record the application type, revision date, and whether the rule applies to a printed item or a digital upload.
- Write down each independent requirement: pixel dimensions or physical size and PPI; accepted JPG, PNG, WebP, or PDF format; background or transparency; and exact, maximum, minimum, or ranged file bytes.
- Use only the rules that actually appear in those instructions. Do not infer pixels from KB, treat a maximum as an exact target, or rely on a preset from an unrelated country or application.
- After export, open the downloaded file and compare its actual dimensions, format, bytes, and visible content with the authority’s current checklist. Acceptance may also depend on pose, signatures, document content, or account rules this site cannot test.
