How the tools are designed
Before an image or PDF is opened, the tool checks its type and stated limits. Image work runs in a separate browser worker, while PDF features load a library from this site only when needed. The downloaded result is checked again for its format, dimensions, page count, or byte rule.
The interface distinguishes dimensions, print density, encoding quality, and file bytes because upload forms often treat them as separate rules.

Accuracy with honest limits
Every tool validates its produced file and reports what changed. When a browser encoder cannot hit a narrow target, the interface shows the achieved result and why the requested rule was not met.
Exact-size image compression is defined as a ±2% tolerance. This is deliberate: browser encoders expose quality steps, not byte-perfect control.
